"ACT OUT"
THE STORY ACT OUT is a TV “reality show” for aspiring actors or actresses. Four lucky contestants (two men and two women), chosen from hundreds of candidates, will try to win the grand prize: 1 million euros and a part in a Hollywood feature film or a stage production in London. The audience also participates by voting for their favourite performer. The show takes place in two houses: the two women live in House 1 and the men in House 2. The contestants then compete in four tests. Each test has a celebrity judge who helps decide who is the best. The first is VIN DIESEL, the action movie actor. In this test the women (who play police officers) compete against the men (who play criminals) in an action scene that involves a chase. The second test is theatrical with the veteran actor IAN MCKELLEN as the judge. Here, the contestants have to recite different Shakespeare* texts while doing a difficult physical activity as they perform. Test number 3 examines the art of streaming. Each contestant must choose a topic and talk about it live on the internet. The judge here is the celebrity streamer and influencer IBAI. The Voice also does “confession time” interviews, first with Lucia and then with Emily. We learn that when Lucia was a child, her actress mother died tragically while performing on stage. (Is this true or is Lucia a liar?) As for Emily, we understand that she is a very private person and she is very surprised to learn that her boyfriend is dating another girl. ACT OUT ends after Test number 4, which is presented by the intrepid actress and film producer MARGOT ROBBIE. Here, the contestants perform a scene from a Harry Potter movie with the help of two volunteers from the audience. The winner of this last test is now the final winner of the reality show.
